ABOUT US

We are the Sabela's. We found each other on 3 different continents but all met in Tanzania. Lilia my wife and I met here in 2014. I was volunteering at a local school in a remote area called Dongobesh. Lilia was working in the orphanage in Arusha where she met our future children: Angel and Joshua.

Here we are now. Waiting to adopt both kids and come home. With courts rescheduling so often we decided to become part of The Joshua Foundation and get involved in the community while we are in the waiting period.

Home: Who We Are

OUR MISSION

Our primary goal is,

TO ADOPT OUR TWO CHILDREN ANGEL AND JOSHUA

because we believe the first mission field in a person's life is in his home. We believe that angel and Joshua were given to us by God and we're always ours before we even knew. They are the most important people in our life and one of the main reasons why we decided to live in Tanzania.

The second part is

OUR MISSION AT THE JOSHUA FOUNDATION.

We were introduced to this mission organisation by a friend of ours. The people we met here become our friends, family, and church. Within one year we discovered all the different ministries that are happening within The Joshua Foundation. After much thinking praying and discussing with the leaders we decided to join The Joshua Foundation. Which has highly benefited us in our waiting process. Since September 2018 we have officially become part of The Joshua Foundation and are super grateful to the founders and the team that we get to share this mission with. Adam is now working full time while Lilia focuses on the children and the house.

The following are our main activities taking place at The Joshua Foundation.

ADOPTING
ANGEL AND JOSHUA

To adopt in Tanzania is not easy. One of the requirement is to live in Tanzania for three years + the courts get rescheduled very often. Regardless of the circumstances, we are happy and willing to finish the process.

OUTREACH
TO THE LOCAL SLUM IN ARUSHA

A team of people have been reaching out to two different slum areas for the past 2 years. They are visiting broken homes with sick people, drug addicts, and the demon possessed. They are also co-working with The local church in the middle of the slum and having weekly church services.
(Adam is part of this team)

HELP AND MENTORING IN THE JOSHUA SCHOOL ARUSHA

Thanks to Adams previous experienced in the LEA school of Dongabesh and his educational skills he fits right in. He's mainly focusing on subjects such as Mathematics Geometry and Arts. With Lilia's help, they are planning to lead the upper class in spiritual devotions and daily walk with the Lord.

CREATING VISUAL PRESENTATION
OF THE JOSHUA FOUNDATION

Adam is also responsible for creating the new visual for The Joshua Foundation. By sharing his experience and skills with the locals. One of the newest projects that will be taking place is the Media Studio. Recording biblical teaching, Live testimonies, and interviews. Here Lilia and Adam will help on the visual side of the video recording and social media presentation.

ARCHITECTURAL PROJECTS

The Joshua Foundation is a growing ministry so there is a need for architectural designs and the overall vision of the compound. Here Adam will use his original profession to fulfill the vision.
